We’re teaming up with The Big Swap to offer positive circular fashion solutions to the climate crisis and ‘have a go’ at reducing fashion waste. The Big Swap is an uplifting space celebrating solution focused change.

Re/use Fashion – T-Shirt Swap

Fed up of looking at the same old T-Shirts? Fancy a fresh look? People are encouraged to bring an adult or child’s T-Shirt to join in the swap-shop.

Re/work Fashion – Re/styling Old Threads

We’re getting creative with our textiles and demonstrating another way to extend the life of old, possibly damaged clothes with urban fashion print artist Bantum Clothing. Visitors can re/work or re/design swapped T-Shirts or have access to additional rail for redesign or can bring their own.

Re/sell Fashion – Donation Station

Exploring the importance of donating items for re/sale with White Rose. We will also be collecting donations and have donation bags for you to tag home.

Re/cycle Fashion – New Technologies

A showcase for local fashion label Rubbish London Brand, who are using new ethical circular fashion methods.

• Please donate used T-Shirts and tote bags (any T-Shirts and any reusable cotton tote bags are welcome)
• Have-a-Go – Bring along any T-Shirts you no longer love to swap at Re/action Festival or re/work and personalise your old shirt or bag with urban print artist Bantum Clothing

(one T-Shirt = one swap, great condition only. All T-shirts & tote bags for re-work must be clean)

Jubilee Square sits at the top of the High Street in Leicester and is fully accessible with some permanent seating arrangements too. Though some of the grass areas do have dropped kerb access, we will ensure that the event areas will be viewable from all accessible parts of the square.
