I’m currently the Interim CEO / Creative Director at Art Reach. Being a senior cultural sector leader with over thirty years experience of cultural leadership and management, I’m also an expert in transformational change in organisations, unlocking place-based partnerships, cultural regeneration and placemaking, and producing work at all scales.
Before becoming self-employed in April 2023, I was CEO & Artistic Director of Absolutely Cultured, established as the legacy company following Hull UK City of Culture 2017, with a cross artform remit for development and delivery. Prior to this, I was CEO & Artistic Director at Déda & Déda Producing, a Creative Centre for Dance and Physical Performance connecting locally, nationally and internationally. I was the co-founder and Artistic Lead of Derby Festé (2007 – 2019), one of UK’s leading international street arts festivals, and I’ve produced at all scales across art forms, including Games Time, a Legacy Trust UK Olympics & Paralympics (2012) project for the Midlands.
