The Relaxerette

Spend a dreamy afternoon with The Relaxerette, a charming revolving installation by Dutch artist Arjan Kruidhof.

The Relaxerette takes you off to a whole new level and changes your perspective. Just lie down in a hammock and watch the clouds go by. Soon the noise of everyday life will fade and you’ll slowly doze off into a wholly different place.

Put on the headphones and close your eyes. Listen to stories and sounds that will quiet your mind for a while.

We welcome everyone aged 6 and upwards to experience The Relaxerette.

The Clock Tower is a wide open space in the heart of the city centre, with dropped kerb access available.
